Dogs can whisper

We’ve seen dogs sit and stay and even speak, but this is the first one we’ve heard whisper! Brody the 5-year-old Beagle mix can whisper on command. Amazingly enough, he learned to do so in under an hour, Holly Stephens, Brody’s owner, told ABC News. So smart!

Monk the husky hates the shower

It’s bath time for Monk the husky but he is NOT having any of it! Monk whines and howls to voice his displeasure at the notion of taking a bath. The bathroom door is closed so there’s no way Monk can run out, but that doesn’t stop him from slinking to the opposite side of the bathroom whenever his owner gets too close — can’t have her grabbing him and placing him in the shower! Poor Monk hates baths so much — we can’t help feeling a little bad for him, but not as bad as we feel for the owner who has to go through this ordeal every time bath time rolls around!

Buck the puppy tries to scare away hiccups

You may have heard that scaring somebody is an effective way to get rid of their hiccups. This dog may have heard that too, but gave it a whole new twist — he’s trying to scare away the hiccups themselves! Unfortunately growls and barks did nothing to deter this frustrated pup’s hiccups. Maybe because he’s too cute to be scary!

Man tricks shiba inu with boxes

This cute shiba inu knows that when he’s given the signal, he needs to dash out of his front yard and into the back of his owner’s SUV. Then he needs to make sure to sit down inside the cardboard box the owner has placed in the back.

It’s clear that the shiba is really good at this trick, so the owner decides to have some fun with the pup — he places progressively smaller cardboard boxes into the backseat, so every time the shiba is signaled to do the trick, it gets harder and harder! The shiba, ever-obedient, continues to climb into the smaller and smaller boxes. Even when the box is about the size of his paw, the shiba does his very best! So adorable!

This dog in a sea of tennis balls is pure bliss

This is every dog’s dream come true! This adorable dog frolics around this sea of several hundred tennis balls, periodically chomping down on them but promptly releasing them, unable to choose just one! At one point a cat slinks by, clearly unimpressed by the dog’s frivolous enthusiasm. This dog never seems to tire of the tennis balls! So much potential fetch!

Pug goes wild in ball pit

We loved playing in ball pits as a kid, but this pug’s wild enthusiasm beats even our most energetic sugar-fueled ball-throwing matches! The pug, who is named Grover, was placed in a ball pit for the first time and he just can’t get enough of it! He runs around and around the ball pit as fast as he can, splaying balls in all directions and even moving the pen several inches with every turn!

This dog absolutely loves ice cream cones

Two dogs named Daisy and Cooper get a surprise from their human after going through the drive through at McDonalds — an ice cream cone! Daisy, the smaller dog, gets to lick the ice cream first as Cooper anxiously awaits his turn. I couldn’t help feeling a pang of sympathy for Cooper as he was scolded for trying to sneak a lick in. But when the cone was finally handed from Daisy to Cooper, it all made perfect sense. Sheez Cooper, so much for eating slowly to savor your food!

Dog cozies up inside refrigerator

Check out the video above to see a dog doing some cool (pun intended, hah!) tricks. The black lab is told to fetch a drink from the refrigerator. He uses his teeth to pull open the door by the dishrag attached to the handle, and then sticks his face inside to search for the drink. The drink must be REALLY FAR BACK because the dog proceeds to climb all the way into the refrigerator, at which point the door closes behind him, trapping him inside! Oh no! Luckily his human is just steps away and opens the door, releasing him from the chilly confines of the refrigerator. Amazingly, the dog doesn’t seem fazed at all — he’s so level-headed that he even remembers to carry out the drink he was initially told to retrieve! So smart!

Corgi gets vacuumed and loves it

Most people bathe their pets when they’re dirty, but one owner came up with a clever new way to clean her dog — with a vacuum! The chubby corgi, who is named Corbin, seems to be totally fine with being vacuumed, not even reacting when the vacuum is passed over her head! We were under the impression that most dogs hated and feared vacuum cleaners (the dogs we had growing up certainly did!), but we guess there are exceptions to every rule!
