Cute dachshunds play at being firefighters

If fire drills were as cute as this one, we would want to hear alarms blaring every day! We can’t get enough of Crusoe and Oakley, the adorable dachshunds who have become YouTube and Vine celebrities through starring in short videos showcasing their adventures. They usually like to dress up as someone (or something) else, like a police cruiser, as we wrote about in an earlier post.

This time, the dachshunds — or should we say, firefighters — are responding to a voice from the kitchen yelling “Fire!” and a burning pan. The first dachshund, decked out in firefighter gear, leads the way around a corner into the kitchen. The second dachshund is dressed as a fire truck, complete with a tiny white fire ladder in case the pups need to reach somewhere high up! Unfortunately firefighting doesn’t come without its perils — the fire truck-dachshund’s bulky gear caused him to crash against the wall! Luckily the dog managed to pull himself out of the corner and continue on his quest to save the day!

Cute dachshunds excited to take a bath

No one is more excited about taking a bath than these two adorable dachshunds! Just hearing their human talk about a bath is enough to send them sprinting towards the tub. The human lags behind the two fiery pups but reaches the tub just in time to watch one of them plop into the water like a fish! The other dog tries again and again to jump into the tub but his short legs just won’t propel him far enough! The human eventually gives him a leg up and both the dogs swim happily in the bath. So cute!

Cute dachshunds play at police chase

If this cop was telling me to put my hands (paws) up, I would surrender immediately! Check out the video above of two dachshunds named Crusoe and Oakley playing cops & robbers. One cute pup acts as a cop cruiser, complete with flashing lights, while the other pup, dressed in black, acts as a robber. This adorable and exciting chase has made our day!
